RNF has created and delivered more than 100 customized training opportunities for media professionals around the world. These range from short lectures and panels in the U.K., Canada, Kosovo, Turkey, France, Austria, South Africa, and Azerbaijan to week-long trainings and writing workshops in the U.S., Myanmar, and beyond.

At the annual Religion News Association conference, which RNF sponsors, hundreds of journalists participate in three days of panels, networking opportunities, sponsored events, and an awards banquet honoring the winners of religion reporting contests.

In addition, RNF provides religious literacy and media literacy trainings and workshops to corporate clients, civil society groups, schools and universities, government agencies, faith leaders, and other groups.

RNF conducts religion research through national surveys to assess citizens’ interests and preferences related to news on religion, with the goal of strengthening journalistic coverage of religion in the United States. RNF conducts message analysis, focus groups, and surveys to help clients determine messaging and presentation strategies that will best resonate with their target audiences.
